Worked Time requests

hr_holidays_working_time version 19.0.1.0.0 depends on hr_holidays_attendance. It lets an approved Worked Time request create native attendance records for the request’s working intervals.

Configure a Worked Time type

  1. Open Time Off > Configuration > Time Off Types.
  2. Create or edit a type whose native Time Type is Worked Time.
  3. Enable Record as Attendance.
  4. Optionally select a Working Schedule and Maximum Calendar Hours.
  5. Save.

Record as Attendance is available only for Worked Time types. A configured schedule is always used when Maximum Calendar Hours is 0; otherwise it is used only when its total hours for the request do not exceed that limit. With no applicable configured schedule, the employee’s active schedule is used.

Request and approve worked time

  1. Create a Time Off request using the configured Worked Time type.
  2. Set full days, a half day, or specific hours.
  3. Submit and approve it through the normal Time Off flow.
  4. Open the request’s Attendances smart button to inspect the generated records.

For a full-day request, the module creates one attendance per working interval in the selected schedule. A half-day request keeps only the relevant morning or afternoon intervals; lunch intervals are not included. An hours-based request creates one attendance from the selected start to end.

Lifecycle

Attendance records are created only when the request is approved. Resetting to draft, refusing, cancelling, or deleting the request removes the attendance records linked to it. The module requires an active working schedule when it must derive schedule intervals.

Verify

Approve a one-day test request on a day with two scheduled work intervals. Confirm the request’s Attendances smart button shows two native attendance records, then refuse or reset it and confirm both records are removed.
