Shared access-control list
base_user_acl is the shared foundation for the Mint HR access-control modules. Version 19.0.1.0.1 depends on Odoo base and adds the Access-control list section to Settings > Users > Access Rights.
It does not grant record access, create menu groups by itself, or show and hide menus by itself. Dependent modules add the actual choices:
| Dependent module | User-management choice | Controls |
|---|---|---|
| HR menu visibility | Employees Menu, Expenses Menu, Time Off Menu | The three native root menus |
| Absence detection access | Attendance Tracking | Inclusion in Odoo’s automatic absence-detection job |
Manage several users centrally
- Enable Developer Mode.
- Open Settings > Users & Companies > Groups.
- Open the required group and use the Users tab.
- Save and ask affected users to refresh their browser session.
For a single user, select the relevant option directly from Settings > Users > Access Rights; Developer Mode is not required.
Check the setup
Open an internal user’s Access Rights. The Access-control list section appears once this module and at least one dependent module are installed. If it does not, upgrade the foundation and the dependent module, reload the page, and confirm the user is internal.
