Attendance settings
These are the relevant native Odoo Attendance settings for rwr_zeiterfassung. Their availability and labels can vary with the installed Odoo applications and the selected company; confirm the live configuration before changing it.
Open Attendances > Configuration > Settings.

| Kiosk Mode | Enables Odoo’s native kiosk options. RWR Time Tracking uses its own public kiosk at /web/kiosk. |
| Backend | Controls native attendance handling in the Odoo backend. |
| Automatic Check Out | Lets native Odoo close selected open attendances; review its company and tolerance settings before enabling it. |
| Absence Management | Enables native absence detection. It is required for Absence detection access. |
| PIN / badge identification | Provides the employee identifiers accepted by the RWR kiosk. |
RWR kiosk behaviour
The RWR kiosk uses the employee barcode or PIN and creates native attendance records. It does not request browser GPS location. It does not create a daily attendance report or run a daily summary cron in version 19.0.1.0.13.
Safe setup order
- Give each kiosk user a unique employee PIN or barcode.
- Set the employee’s working schedule and time zone before enabling attendance automation.
- Test the kiosk actions with a non-production employee.
- If enabling Absence Management, finish the eligibility checks in Absence detection access.
Verify
After saving, test a badge and a PIN at /web/kiosk, then confirm the resulting records in Attendances. Check automatic check-out and absence settings with an administrator before relying on them in production.
